Chinedum Orji Was Present at Women’s Annual August Meeting in Olokoro, Preaches Commitment to Women & Development

The All Progressives Congress(APC) candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency and former Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, attended the annual Olokoro Women’s August Meeting held at Olokoro Community School.

In his address at the event, he commended the organisers for sustaining the annual event and highlighted the need for greater support for women through opportunities in education, entrepreneurship, skills development, healthcare, and leadership.

“Women are a vital pillar of our communities. Their contributions to the growth and development of our society must be recognised, supported, and strengthened. I am honoured to celebrate with you today and to listen to your aspirations and concerns”, he said.

Concluding, Orji used the occasion to encourage unity and peaceful participation in the democratic process, noting that meaningful development requires cooperation among political leaders, women’s groups, traditional institutions, youths, and the wider community while reaffirming his commitment to inclusive representation and people-oriented development.

An elder statesman and former Senator that represented Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator Chris Adighije and other dignitaries attended the event.
