PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU HAS DECLARED that he will not surrender to those seeking to unseat him in the 2027 general election, saying that politics is a competition and that he will contest against them until the very end.

Tinubu made the remarks on Tuesday while receiving members of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He said that anyone who wants to defeat him is free to try, but he will not make it easy for them to succeed.

“Anyone who wants to take power from me is free to make the attempt. But I will not roll out the red carpet for them. We will fight it out until the finish line. That is the fairness of politics,” Tinubu said.
