You Lack Visible Empowerment Representation – Concerned Stakeholders Slam Obi Aguocha

A group, Concerned Stakeholders, has reintroduced a wave of empowerment and legislative performance assessment and scrutiny on the member representing Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency, Hon. Obi Aguocha, stressing that the law maker lacks visible representation to be reelected to the green-chamber of the 11th House of Representatives come 2027.

In a statement made available to newsmen, the group spokesman, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, decried that an assessment and commendation-oriented statements credited to the wife of Abia State governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, on February 15, 2026, revealed a direct zero impactful capacity and performance of Hon. Obi Aguocha who has not been openly commended by the governor, the wife of the governor, truthful group or any honest resident of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency.

“No doubt, the member representing Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency, Hon. Obi Aguocha, has demonstrated zero impactful capacity and performance since he was elected in 2023 till date.

“The people of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency cannot compare him with his opponent, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, who would perform excellently than him as retrospectively seen when he served as an elected honourable member and speaker of Abia State House of Assembly. Obi Aguocha cannot also compare himself with Chinedum Orji.

“We have been seeing other members of the House of Representatives from Abia State bringing dividends of legislative capacity, representation, visibility and empowerment to their constituencies without seeing the deterrence of Aguocha’s empowerment and impactful performance to the good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency.

“On February 15, 2026, a statement credited to the wife of Abia State governor, Mrs. Priscilla Otti, on her X handle (@PriscillaOtti) revealed an assessment but legislative impactful performance of Hon. Ginger Obinna Onwusibe (A member representating IsialaNgwa South/IsialaNgwa North Federal Constituency of Abia State) deviod of Aguocha’s name.

“Aguocha has neither been openly commended by the governor, wife of the governor, truthful group or any honest resident of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency as Mrs. Otti wrote:

“@PriscillaOtti, Honourable Ginger Obinna Onwusibe, representing Isiala-Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, continues to demonstrate firm commitment to the wellbeing of his people. Beyond legislation, he has brought tangible joy through transformative projects and economic empowerment. I was thrilled to represent my dear husband at his recent Empowerment Programme, where he gifted over 1,000 constituents with life-changing assets: motorcycles, tricycles, sewing machines, generators, freezers and more. These assets will not only uplift individuals but also stimulate local economies, create jobs, and boost entrepreneurship in Isiala-Ngwa North and South. This tradition of excellence, giving, and love is truly inspiring. Governance is people-centric; it’s about uplifting lives, shaping destinies, and boosting prosperity. The citizens are at the heart of it all, and it’s our duty to protect, provide, and empower them”.

“The above statements by the wife of the governor are ties of VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE on Aguocha. These are assessment and commendation-oriented statements that can never echo the name of Obi Aguocha in the lexicon of performance, direct human capital development and economic empowerment.

“The above statements show that Obi Aguocha has not only failed in visible representation but in legislative humanity to be openly commended by the first Lady of Abia State as she commended Hon. Ginger Onwusibe who is serving in the same green-chamber of the House of Representatives with him.

“Comparatively, Aguocha will not be reelected in all certainty
because of his absolute lack of humanity, transformative projects and economic empowerment to the people of Ikwuano/ Umuahia Federal Constituency. We will deeply expose him during the electioneering campaigns”, the group stated.
